In 1986, the couple sold the restaurant to their daughter and her husband, Marilyn and Mike Ford. Marilyn and Mike ran the restaurant until 2014.
On May 18, 2014, the restaurant was sold to Mike and Marilyn’s children, Chad Ford and Melanie Gerritson, along with help from Melanie’s husband Erick. Presently at the same location, they will continue the same family values John and Helen held when they opened the doors on that first day and throughout the 28 years that Marilyn and Mike held the reigns.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and featuring Friday Night Fish Fry and Saturday Night All You Can Eat Chicken, this restaurant is a regular stop for many townspeople as well as those who just pass through time to time.
